Dear Lord, thank you so much for another day of life on Earth. Thank you for another beautiful sunrise to enjoy. Thank you for the wonderful sounds of nature, from the cool breeze brushing through the trees to the birds singing melodies. You are a wonderful God, full of grace and mercy. I praise you for allowing me another day to spend with my family. I love you Father! Amen.

"The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come,

St Perpetua Outreach committeeis hosting a"Share the Warmth" eventthe weekend ofNov 5 & 6th. There will be a collection ofall warm winter things: coats, hats, mittens, sox, sweatshirts, sweaters, boots, blankets, comforters, bedspreads, flannel sheets, sleeping bags - even tents & tarps!
Sizes are needed from infant to adult - especially children's items as they grow so quickly same as our own do!!
Items can be brought onNov 4, 5 or 6andput near the doors of the church hall
Some of the organizations that will benefit from these warm items:
  • Friendly Manor Oakland - women
  • Hillcrest Community Church - clothes closet in Pleasant Hill
  • No One Left Behind - refugees from Afghanistan: these men worked as interpreters for the U.S Government in Afghanistan so were no longer safe & had to leave their country.
