Welcome to my webpage! I love that I have a position where I get to combine the wonders of Science and the wonders of God. After graduating from the University of Southern California many moons ago, I taught a variety of grade levels and subjects in a variety of types of schools including Science and Religion in a private Catholic school. Now I get to revisit these favorite subjects here at St. P's in Junior High!  I am thrilled to be back in the classroom with these amazing students and really looking forward to the fun-filled and enriching year of exploration ahead!

Here are some topics and field trips per grade level that we will cover for

  • 6th Grade Science: Plate tectonics, Earthquakes, Volcanoes, Solar System, Ecosystems, Energy and Renewable Resources, Chabot Science Center
  • 7th Grade Science: Motion, Forces, Hydraulics, Oceanography, Anatomy, Cells, Botany, Gulf of the Farallones Marine Sanctuary
  • 8th Grade Science: Light Waves, Genetics, Earth History and Changes Over Time, Matter, Elements and the Periodic Table, Lawrence Hall of Science
  • 7th Grade Religion: the New Testament, the life of Jesus, types of prayer.
