Bulletin #16

Bulletin # 16

Happy Thanksgiving!  We are blessed in so many ways at St. Perpetua School.  I hope that over the next week or so you are able to take a few moments to reflect on the many gifts you have received this past year.  I am so thankful for the amazing St. Perpetua Community including our dedicated and intelligent staff, our kind and enthusiastic students, and our generous and committed parents.  The culmination of everyone's participation creates and sustains this wonderful school.
Our Season of Giving is well underway!  The 7th grade students assembled more than 40 Thanksgiving dinners for the Monument Crisis Center this morning.  We will continue to collect peanut butter, tuna, and Cup 'O Noodles when we return from Thanksgiving.  OurGiving Tree with ornaments for Samaritan House will be up when we return to school onNovember 28.  We will be collecting all Season of Giving items until December 14.  Please see details below in the Mission Effectiveness section.
On Friday, December 2, our annual Cafe Holiday Boutique will dazzle you with its array of homemade treats, holiday decorations, and unique gifts.  Don't miss this fabulous event!  Saturday, December 3, Parent Association, with the assistance of our Jr. High elves will hostPeppermint Shoppe from 9am-11am in the school building.  This beloved event helps to teach our youngest students the joy of giving as the students are able to purchase Christmas gifts for family and friends.  The Café will also be open for the adults to enjoy a beverage and shop the holiday boutique and purchase SCRIP cards.  I look forward to seeing you there!
For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food,
For love and friends,
For everything Thy goodness sends.
